Sustainable Parenting and YOU!

Did you know that every year in the US alone, 20 Billion disposable diapers end up in our landfills? Each disposable diaper takes 500 years to decompose; meaning since it's inception, all of those diapers have yet to decompose.

By diapering even part-time with our award winning cloth diapers, you can help leave the earth a little better for your kids.

How Does it Work?

Lighthouse Kids Cloth Diapers are as simple as a disposable diaper to use, but instead of throwing them away, you just wash them and reuse.  Find out how easy it is to wash cloth diapers here.

What about the Poop?

When dealing with babies, you will always deal with poop, however, when you cloth diaper with Lighthouse Kids there are no blowouts, or leaks, why? Our diaper was expertly designed to provide maximum absorbency, with incredible fit for every type of baby. We also have handy little biodegradable bamboo liners that can catch the poop, so you don't have to deal with it. Just flush the waste and dispose of the liner.  Find out more with our videos here.

What About the Cost?

By cloth diapering with Lighthouse Kids, you can save over $3,000 per child! BONUS: All of our diapers can be used for potty learning as well, making it easy to transition from cloth diapers to underwear.

How Many Diapers Do I Need?

With cloth diapers, the more you have, the less laundry you will have to do, so it is advantageous to have a large stash of cloth diapers. However, most parents choose to start with a small number, eventually expanding to a full stash. For a full breakdown see our chart here.
