I am so happy to be officially kicking off summer with these 3 amazing patriotic prints. If you're familiar with LKC, you know that we absolutely LOVE the 4th of July holiday. Parades, beach barbecues, fireworks...we love everything about it.
It's my favorite time of year because not only does it remind me of everything amazing about this country, but because I love the heat, the family time and the festivities.
For those of you that are not familiar with our brand, I will tell you a little story. When I was 10 years old, my family moved to the United States from our native Brazil. I remember the culture shock, the confusion of not knowing exactly how to navigate a new environment as a kid and the constant language barrier, in school and in life in general.
About 10 months after our big move, I remember the major street just outside of our house shutting down for a parade (I had no idea why...). The next day, my parents decided to take us to see the parade and yup, you guessed it, it was a 4th of July Parade and celebration. There were sparklers and kids running around and bathing suits and just plain fun. I was hooked. It's been my favorite holiday ever since, and every summer, GreenPath Baby and Lighthouse Kids Company release a Fourth of July series.
This year, we are releasing 3 new diapers; Sea to Shining Sea, Liberty, and Unity Vintage.
Sea To Shining Sea
This diaper is a TRUE Cobalt Blue. It is practically the prettiest, truest, most saturated blue you will ever see. Definitely, much brighter than our last blue.
Liberty
Liberty is a gorgeous all occasion red that is perfect for every season, and every holiday. This beautiful diaper is a true red, very vibrant and saturated. Our cameras don't do it justice!
Unity Vintage
Unity Vintage was inspired by the art of 1950's posters. I love the big, bold look of those posters. They evoked a feeling and the message was loud and clear. For Unity Vintage, we wanted to replicate that feel. All of the states blur into one another making the image of the US flag. That's why we are called the UNITED States of America. I wanted to convey that with art. Not one state is bigger than the other, they are all mixed in to create a gorgeous vintage flag!
🇺🇸 Fun Fact: The Flag can be seen in the traditional way from the front of the diaper, but we designed the diaper to have the stars on the right when on the bum, because it signifies soldiers going INTO battle. Unity Vintage signifies our journey to unite all of our ideals into one!
